Dolos can deliver C4S solutions to our end-user clients using customizable image solutions for industrial and governmental needs. A component toolkit includes gimbals, gyro-stabilized and software stabilized platforms, long range optics, colour night vision systems and variety of mid and long-wave sensors.

Through our IGA we can tailor and supply cube-sat satellite payloads as part of a space based ISR solution that can receive data from a small terrestrial handheld beacon.  Dismounted operators with a small handheld beacon can transmit their position, ID and other messages to the satellite payload via the MWIR uplink.  Operators can covertly report their position and status worldwide without RF or other electromagnetic devices.

Our strategic partnership network has experience in designing both MWIR beacons and systems used in space (aboard the ISS).  The space ISR payload can be designed to fit in <1.5U and weigh less than 4kg.

The handheld MWIR Beacon uses a laser source that can be modulated to send data to the ISR payload.  The beacon can be modulated at speeds sufficient to send unit ID, location, and other data.  For example, canned messages can be programmed to rapidly send crucial updates to the receiver.

We can also provide non-visible non-RF communication between units in full-duplex voice with very high accuracy to provide secure unbreakable comms. Adaptable to non-RF free space optic video and control links providing an invisible infrared Ethernet link between ground station and UAS.

LIDAR Filters

LIDAR Filters – LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) filters must meet very strict requirements to remain competitive in the ever-expanding quest for fully autonomous vehicles. Via out IGS we can offer competitively priced LIDAR filters with ultra-narrow bandwidths (2nm) ranging from UV to NIR. Our filters offer high transmission, up to or higher than 95%, with steep slopes and high out-of-band blocking (OD 5-6) in a very wide range.

Optical Wafers

Dolos can provide all types of optical wafers in quantities from prototype to full scale production.  Through our IGS we can supply BK 7 wafers and provide expertise to guide clients through the lean Kanbans production process, allowing clients to pull material as needed saving the ordering hassles and creating just-in-time work flows.  Machined wafers are available as well.  We can provide wafers that meet the most stringent of specifications.

COTS optics and IR Materials

We can supply raw material and semi-finished materials to other optics manufacturers, contractors and integrators.  Products include wafers, prisms, lenses and even specialty crystals.
